Okay, enough about that. Let's get to the look!
It's not too smokey but it's not all bright and pastel and sparkling, either. It's very balanced and works very well with the image Link gives. Jump behind the break and see what I used! And this LOTD is different from my other ones. I took pictures as I did my makeup, so there's a step-by-step guide on how I achieved the look. Enjoy!
Products I used
Skinfood Good Afternoon Honey Black Tea BB Cream SPF 20 PA+
Too Faced Shadow Insurance
Maybelline Color Tattoo #50 Edgy Emerald
Shiro Cosmetics shadows in Acid, Kokiri Forest, Link
Tarte cheek stain in Flush
Maybelline Bouncy Blush in #40 Peach Plum
Revlon Lip Butter in Creme Brulee
quick note: if you right click the image and press "open image in new tab", you'll be able to read the steps better! Sorry about that.
Some notes about my original finished look: I was testing out a BB cream sample by Skinfood and it did not agree with my face at all. My blush looks like it's applied a little too generously (which is somewhat the case), but the BB cream literally made my cheeks flush really dark. Use a light hand with your blush for this look! Also use a nude lip color. You want your eyes to be the focus. I used Creme Brulee lip butter by Revlon and I think it worked really well. Play around with it. I'd love to see how it goes!
This is acting as a mini filler post before I begin posting the big guys starting tonight! Look forward to it & have a lovely day!! xx
